Mouse keeps re/disconnecting

Anyone else having their mouse disconnect and then reconnect in spurts? And sometimes it disconnects and won't reconnect until I restart my computer.

I have had this mouse for at least 3 years, but just recently I have started having this problem. I haven't recently upgraded any components, but I am running the RC of Windows 7, and maybe that is it. It happens whether i'm plugged in through a USB hub or not, and I haven't had a chance to try it on another machine.

Anyone with any thoughts?

I have the same mouse and was using Windows 7 RC (have a full copy now) but I never had any issues with the mouse. I tried both 32 & 64 bit versions of windows 7 and they were both fine. Did you install the logitech setpoint software? If so try removing it. I had a few problems getting that to run properly with the RC version of win 7.

The same thing started for me this past weekend. Turned out to be a short in the cable close to the mouse end.
