Hi all,
I've searched Google and found no mention of the N95's SD card slot failing.
Mine started this a few days back, and just refuses to accept that there is a card inserted. I tried various cards (A Nokia branded 512Mb, SanDisk 4Gb and a 1Gb that came with my BB 9000) and they are all the same, each card reads fine in all other devices, Nokia E51 and the Blackberry.
So if any one has any suggestions, ideas or even random guesses please share.
Also, the phone is out of warranty with Nokia but is insured for damage.
Question about
Memory Card slot failure
It's probably a hardware failure, you should take it to a service center.
Although it seems very unlikely, it could be a software issue so you could try reseting the whole phone with the code *#7370#. This will remove all your applications and probably some other things too and might or might not fix your problem.
