Question about
Kinect or Kinect 2
I got an xbox 360 mw3 limited edition bundle from Amazon not too long ago(i love it!). I'm thinking of getting the Kinect, but after browsing some sites I saw that there r rumors of the Kinect 2. I'm confused......should I wait or go for the Kinect that's already available?
thanks!

I wouldn't expect to see the Kinect 2 until the next Xbox console is launched. The current rumors for launch dates on that is the 2013 timeframe. It is likely to be showing during E3 in 2013 and a release date would be announced then.
Based on that time frame, I would say if you want a Kinect, get the one that is out now.

Microsoft releasing Kinect 2 and telling the millions who bought Kinect to buy another piece of hardware that's better than something they just bought less than a year ago would be a big PR fiasco. I've never played Kinect but just from a PR and business perspective that would be a dumb move.
Releasing software package Kinect 2.0 or more attachments that make Kinect better are likely to come. I believe Nyko has an attachment for Kinect that makes it a little better for people who play in smallish living rooms. Who knows how good/better the attachment works. Hopefully Microsoft is still refining Kinect and will release software updates for free to download through Xbox Live. That part makes a lot of sense.
