Just got a Pre plus yesterday wondering what awesome apps I should look into getting and if anybody knows anything about when the 1.4.

1 update will come to the plus?

I would imagine given Palm's financial status that a new WebOS update (any time soon) is extremely unlikely. Also, since the conditions of a potential buyout package are unknown I doubt that they are doing much innovation on WebOS (a lot of reports indicate that buyers aren't particularly interested in the OS so much as the patents and employees).

I know a couple of people at Palm and they are closely watching job openings (mainly with google/android team). A lot of employees with high skill sets are getting ready to jump ship.
