Jumpiness?

Does anyone else have a problem with the mouse lagging? Occasionally it just cuts out and I have to reposition it.

I get problems with it jumping all over the place when I have iTunes open. Dunno if it's the mouse or something else though.

Occasionally mine gets stuck, but then I find out that the Bluetooth has been disconnected. That is the most common error for me. It is a great mouse other than that though. I'm using mine with OSX.

I'm running Windows 7 and this mouse is definitely jumpy. I thought it might be because of the standard Windows drivers, but I just installed the latest SetPoint and still see the same issue. I have an MX Revolution mouse hooked to the same machine, and it doesn't have that problem.

I found that lint was getting built up around the laser and was causing the jumpiness I saw. The only other complaint I have about this mouse is that the charging base doesn't seem to make a very reliable connection. Cleaning the contacts helps, but it's still flakier than it should be.

While that may be the case with otakushark and it does 'just work' just fine in Windows, the mouse has OS X issues unless you're using it with a recent LCC. Install the latest drivers.

If you have one of these mice, you may want to upgrade to 10.5.7, that cured the jumpiness for me. I still refuse to use the Logitech Control Center because I feel like it eats memory (maybe my imagination). Instead I use a little shareware app called SteerMouse, and it works beautifully.
