Is this normal?

So, I have a Droid 2 and have had one since December of last year. Between then and now I've had to have it replaced once (powerbutton stuck/rejected all chargers), and have had to do 4 factory resets because the phone was slowing down and that's what Verizon always recommended for me to do.

I have no task killers installed. I have no anti-virus installed. No rooted phone. Just a normal Droid 2.

Is what I'm experiencing normal? Should I not be reseting the phone as it becomes less responsive?

Thanks

usually a phone becomes less responsive due to either a badly behaving app or a just too many apps that have services running in the background. I suggest being selective in what you install and if there are apps you aren't using uninstall them.
