Question about
Is this a youth friendly device for etexts and note taking?
What OS does it have and is it sturdy for intermediate (3rd-5th grade) students?
It runs on android.
I wouldn't suggest it, firstly because it has too resistive touch screens rather than capacitive ones, which are awful from my experience.
According to engadget the build quality was flimsy. Besides, it has a hinge which could be snapped by younger kids.
Besides, no one's heard of the company for the last few months.
I would look to getting the first gen iPad, if you're looking for affordability+usability. It has thousands of apps and is pretty sturdy too.
