Is there any way to manage colors/ calibrate from Mac?

If this is for Photoshop, that community may be the better place to ask.

While dated, the Macworld article linked at the end of this post might help with background. However, I thought I read that Apple changed color management with Lion; and I'm not sure how that changes things.

I only know how to calibrate a display from going into System Preferences>Display and under the color tab there is a option to calibrate colors.
