Is there any hardware that streams Netflix better than Xbox 360?

If I were to want to let my gold account expire, I couldn't stream Netflix on the TV anymore. The Netflix experience is very good on 360. Are there any other hardware devices, such as the Roku HD or similar, that are comparable or better for streaming (and searching Netflix? I guess I could use WMC (Win 7 version) also.
I've heard rather bad things about Netflix built in to hardware (blu-ray players mostly), though that maybe wifi issues and not the hardware necessarily.

I stream netflix from my PS3 and my xBox as well as my ROKU all three interfaces are different the PS3 the most user friendly the xBox so so and netflix on the roku somewhat limited but by no means lacking. You can still search and it still shows you all the different genres the nice thing about using the roku is all the other free and some paid channels you also get that you dont get from using the PS3 or xBox like Crackle, revision3, and TwiT to name a few I love my roku and it is primarily what I watch in my bedroom late at night even tho I have a fios set top box in their too with the new version of the roku and its motion controller its even better and the XS version for $99 is well worth it

I stream Netflix to my PS3 and although the interface is kinda weird, the playback is always smooth and easy to navigate. Other than that, my dad uses a Roku box and it seems like it performs really good too.

I have xbox, wii, tivo, and a Dell Zinio hooked up to two LG TV which streams netflix. The best overall picture comes via Tivo followed by LG TV. The worse is Wii. All the items are wired to a gigabit router and comcast cable.

PS3. More titles are in HD and 5.1 surround than other device with the exception of maybe the Roku 2. PS3 also plays blu rays and at only $249 now good luck finding a better blu ray player that doesn't require a wifi dongle. You may be able to find one at near $180, but think about what else you're getting with the extra $70.

I've heard good things about the Roku and Apple TV, but you have to realize that these devices will only be "the hot shit" for about a year. PS3 gets updates constantly, can do 3D gaming if you're into that and never required a separate wifi dongle that the original 360 did. It's bigger than a Roku 2, so if size and portability is important than that's the clear way to go.

If price is the thing, then I stand by the fact that the PS3 will be worth something in years to come, whereas a 2 or 3 year old Roku or Apple TV will be worth next to nothing and doesn't have to clout of a PS3 as far as versatility.

The ability to store music, videos, photos, play Vudu, MLB.tv, Direct TV Sunday Ticket, NHL Gamecenter and Hulu+ are also there if you aren't into using it as a gaming console. I think it has NBAtv too, but I'm not sure.

Apple TV has one of the best native Netflix interfaces, hands down. It's not too bad at $99. But for that price, go for a Roku player. Cheaper and you have more options for content!

I stream netflix from my AppleTV. The user interface is really nice. It doesn't stream other content like revision4 and Twit, except for cases where that content is available as a podcast via iTunes. I considered Roku and BoxeeBox but i choose AppleTV because I wanted access to the paid content available from iTunes.

For the price, the Roku is great. Avoid TiVo at all costs. Their Netflix interface sucks.

I normally use my AppleTV, however, I may start using my PS3 more if I decide to get the NFL Sunday Ticket streaming package for it.
