Is there any chance Apple will opt for AMD processors to power its MACs?

There's always a chance, I'd say it's somewhere south of 1% though. Apple's more likely to move to ARM and entirely away from x86 than to move within x86 from Intel to AMD.

I don't think it's likely. However, if they don't move to ARM; AMD's fusion APU's would be a good move for the Mac Book line.

I think the a5 chip would be more likely than an arm chip as it is already lower power and dual core
