Question about
Is there a way for Apple TV2 with XBMC to read all the scraped info from XBMC on my Mac?
It's a little long going over each item via XBMC on the Apple TV to re-download all the data for my DVD collection...

You'll want a tool to create the NFO files for your content. When you scan your content with XBMC on the ATV2, it'll read the NFO files instead of rescraping everything from scratch. There are Windows apps to do this, such as Media Companion or Movie Info Plus, but I don't know of any for OSX.

I have found that using Plex is better and a faster setup. All you have to do is load plex onto your main server then tell it where your movies are (can be multiple locations) and where your tv shows are located. It then scans all your media (I had 2 TB worth and took 15 mins) once the scan is complete you need to install plex into Appletv 2g. Once installed it automatically knows where your server is and loads your files. I like that plex automatically groups episodes and finds the best cover art for your media and if you have a ton of media it make it easy for searching with multiple filter options.
