I have an HTC Trophy and an HTC Touch Pro2. The batteries are physically identical, with the only visual difference being that the Trophy's is orange/yellow and the TP2's is black.
On the 'technical' side of them, the TP2's is 1500mAh, and the Trophy's is 1300mAh. I was wondering, would there be any harm in putting the TP2's 1500mAh battery in the Trophy? I've tried, and it booted and stayed working until I took the battery out from fear :P Would there be some potential long term harm to the Trophy, or the battery swelling or something?
(no, I don't intend on using the Trophy's battery in the TP2, just vice-versa)
Question about
Is there a danger with swapping the batteries?

Nope no risk at all lol you will ofc get better battery life as there is more mAh. mAh is the capacity so it doesn't matter at all. Just make sure the voltages are the same lol cause voltage is ofc the strength, but most phones are identical voltages anyways lol
