Is the latest iPod Touch Camera the same as the iPhone 4?
Looking at the latest iPod Touch and remembered that previous generations had complaints about cheap cameras. I can't remember what's going on with the latest. The Tech Specs page says it's HD but Apple does bend the truth a bit.

It's not the same camera at all. Even though the camera is HD when taking videos it only takes 960 by 720 pixels stills which is just about 0.7 megapixels.

According to this article by ars technica, it seems the camera in the latest generation of iPod Touch is not the same as the one in iPhone 4.
