Question about
Is the A4 chip on the iPhone 4 running at 1GHz?
Most people seem to be assuming it is, but the clock speed doesn't seem to be listed or mentioned anywhere (unlike when the iPad was launched)?
Either way, the phone is said to "feel" faster, and ultimately, that's all that matters. :-)

I wonder this as well. It wouldn't surprise me if they under clocked it.

According to Wikipedia, iPod touch 4 is clocked at 800MHz.
We can speculate iPhone 4 has either same clock speed or slightly higher (900?) clock speed, but I don't think it runs the full 1GHz like iPad does due to battery life concerns.
