Question about
Is it just me, or was the addition of Sprint as a carrier in the US completely breezed over by Phil Schiller?
I would think the addition of the 3rd largest carrier in the US would be a bigger deal to announce than just an afterthought. It didn't even merit the Sprint logo on a slide! Is this because Apple simply didn't want to piss off the big 2?
Also, how is it like 8 hours after the event and still not even an iPhone mention on Sprint's site either?

the Apple Web Site shows "Coming Soon" for Sprint. If you go to the order page, only at&t and Verizon show as available (though grayed as we can't order until Friday).
This event was a world announcement. The 4s will be available in a dozen or so countries on Oct. 14. It just didn't make the cut. Although, interesting that a $2.99 greeting card app did!

Sure it was, but I am excited to finally get a chance to get an iPhone on Sprint. Even though, Sprint has dropped or cancelled many of the perks that made them different than Verizon or AT&T. Unlimited data is the only differentiation... while it lasts.

I am sure there will be an update to the Sprint site sometime before the pre-orders go live, but Apple would always like to keep the Apple logo on there and no one else's. If you want a sprint logo, go buy a sticker and put it on there. Everyone in the world knows now that Sprint is carrying the iPhone 4S. The overall design choice by apple will never let any carrier put their logo on the phone. That you will have to deal with.
