is anyone using the replacement program?

if so what are they going to replace it with? Is it just a battery replacement or a new iPod?

I used my 1st gen (4GB, white) nano solely at the gym and it was still trucking along. I waited a few weeks after the replacement program started before sending the unit in and several weeks later received a 6th gen nano (8GB, silver). I use my iPhone for day-to-day use so not sure if my iPod usage patterns will change, but I think I will prefer the clip to the armband I've been using for years.

I am, mine is the 4gig model, it works, still use it now and again. I'm rolling the dice to see what I get. It would surprise me to get a 'new' 1st gen nano but I guess its possible. Wonder how many they're expecting to replace? There are only a little over 2000 reported as owned by GDGT users. Maybe it's not that many. I just don't want to get a 1 or 2 gig model back.

just dropped mine to the local Apple Authorized Service today. I live in Indonesia so it'd probably took longer time. interesting to see if their program coverage is actually really worldwide!
