iPad charging tips. How often do you charge? Do you often have full discharges? is it good or bad? When's the best time to charge?

I'll usually try to plug it in every night (mostly it depends on use though). I haven't touched the iPad much in the past few days though, so it's just been sitting on my nightstand and had something like 80% charge when I picked it up this morning.

I don't think you need to be too diligent about charging it. For Li-ion batteries, I think the healthy thing to do is let it completely run down every few months or so. Allegedly, it's not good for Li-ion batteries to keep them constantly plugged in (e.g., if you go to work and leave your iPad plugged in at home all day).

That said, the thing has such an insane battery life, I think you'd really have to try to abuse the battery for anything to happen.

My normal use case is probably that it gets to around 60% on average before I plug it in again.
