If you've been wanting an iPad 2, have you been able to get one yet, or are you still waiting?

If not, what has prevented you from receiving it? Is there still a shortage of stock in stores? Are there still shipping delays?

The main reason I ask this is that I was recently looking at the adoption rates between the original iPad and the iPad 2 on gdgt. Basically, I took a look at how many people on gdgt added the iPad / iPad 2 to their have lists in the first two weeks of their availability. The results surprised me.

In the first two weeks the iPad was available in 2010, 620 users added it to their have list. In the first two weeks the iPad 2 was available, only 214 users had added it to their have lists! What?!

We know the iPad is selling like crazy, so I'm wondering what's going on? Shortages and difficulty actually getting one, I'd imagine!

I ordered my iPad March 19th and my estimated ship delivery date is April 26th! So, I'd say there is a shortage and shipping delays.

Although I really want my iPad, I don't want to wake up super early and wait outside an Apple Store to get one. I'm just going to be patient and hope that the delivery dates get pushed up.

just ordered mine via apple's website. i called 4 or 5 local stores & & they had a few but i didn't want to risk it at the store. got the black/wifi/32g with a gray smart case. curious to see if it'll actually take 2-3 weeks.

Initially the long ship dates deterred me but I haven't really been sure if I want one yet or something else. Right now I'm leaning toward iPad because there are more apps that I'm interested in. Plus it's a pretty hefty price tag for my portable PC.
