You can increase the volume a little by downloading Volume+. I have it set to 8, anything above that makes it worse for me. This is the link from the developer's site. www.multiupload.com/R3MP2FBPC0

i think it sucks that you have to use something like volume+ to make it the speaker sound like it should. i returned mine because of this , and that i need more than 16GB storage. ( i had the GSM version)
