Question about
If I plug a DroboPro into my switch & connect it with iSCSI, will my MacBook Pro "see" the Drobo over WiFi?

pcproctor's pick
I can not recommend trying iSCSI over WiFi as anything less than a rock solid wired connection is going to be problematic. iSCSI does not like random disconnects - which are all too common with WiFi. Even at home, I would use a switch that supports VLANs and isolates an initiator/receiver, a dedicated physical switch, or (if all else fails) a direct Gb device-to-device wired connection.
Is there a reason why basic file services won't meet your needs? That sort of thing is more WiFi friendly.
