Question about
I would like to track my sleep patterns, however, I don't like the wrist band for using every night. Can't we just wear it normally as we would do by day?

Yes, but they say it won't be quite as accurate.
I stopped using the wristband a while ago and I've been happy enough with the results, though admittedly I'm don't care all that much about tracking my sleep patterns (I mainly use the Fitbit to make sure I'm active enough each day).
I think it's worth trying for a week to see how the results differ.
