Question about
I wonder if anyone knows how much drive space is left on the 64gb Asus tablet after Windows 7?
I saw the 32gb demo model at the Best Buy shop and it only seemed to have 6 gig free. Also, what kind of battery life have you been getting from the device. Thank you for sharing... this tablet is the only tablet on the market that has got me interested.

I have the 64GB model and I have a bunch of programs installed, including MS Office and I have 18.8GB free. In typical usage without letting the device go to sleep, I'm seeing between 3.5 and 4.5 hours, depending upon what I'm doing. If I use it for a bit and then let it go to sleep, wake it up and do some more, etc. I have gotten over 6 hours. I turned down the brightness on the touchscreen a bit from the default, but other than that I'm running with the standard power settings.

I have about 30GB free after Windows 7, Office 2010 and a few business apps. It lasts all day for me. I have the screen brightness all the way down (fine except outdoors) and screen set to dim after 1 minute and sleep after 2 minutes. Thanks to the SSD, wake up is about 6 seconds.

well a typical copy of 7 is about 7-16gb depending on features so you can do the math from there

After two months I was finally able to purchase the 64 GB version of the tablet, and after installing the essentials (substituting Open Office for MS Office), I had at least 30 GB free, which is more than adequate. l did purchase (and return) the 32GB version of the slate. It indeed had only about 6 GB after installing only a few applications.
