Anyone have any ideas, or am I left high and dry?
I am looking for a new laptop, but I don't have the funds. So yes, I know I need to upgrade.

I've searched endlessly, but I still cannot find a driver for my ATI mobility x700 for Windows 7 x84(32bit).
If either the manufacturer or AMD don't have an update, then you're pretty much out of luck.

Tried a 2000/XP driver? I've never tried one for a graphics card, but I've had success with I/O drivers.

Windows 7 was engineered to be compatible with the Vista drivers. So if you can find the latter, try using them instead and see what happens
