Question about

I've noticed a few bugs in Honeycomb running on the Acer Iconia A500 most notably when clicking on a link in an email or Google Talk, the browser pops up…

and the whole screen goes haywire - anyone else having the same experience?

Also the Facebook app keeps crashing and the Facebook webpage shows a "Connection Error" most of the time - again, anyone else experiencing this?

Honeycomb is still a work in progress an unfortunately has some bugs like you mentioned. I haven't noticed it personally but I wouldn't doubt there might be a problem. You should check out the XDA threads and see if someone has found a work-around to the bug - forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=945

If you are using the official Facebook app, that is probably because it just plain sucks for any Android device. It seems like every update brings along more problems than extras. There was an app just recently optimized for Honeycomb that is getting good results so far, you should check it out and see if it works better: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.handmark...

Its for sure buggy but 3.1 solves a ton of issues and is scheduled for a early june release.

As far as the connection issue with facebook in the browser, I think its because site rends the full version then when you click'home it takes to the mobile version which just says connection failed, if you type about:debug into the address bar and then click go it will bring up a debug option in browser settings and their you will find an option for UAstring which will allow to select the user agent you want and if you select desktop it should resolves your facebook.com connection woes

I personally prefer to use the browser for facebook on Honeycomb. It works much better than the app for most purposes.

Honeycomb 3.1 really fixed all sorts of bugs. I don't have many problems with my Iconia on 3.1 . I got 3.1 from XDA-developers website though, not sure if Acer has finally released it themselves.
