Would you consider this a top-level device among all the other Android phones available? It seems like this phone is a weak attempt from Motorola to keep up with the new competition coming out.

I'm guessing you get your hands on a lot of phones so you might be able to answer this question!

How fast does the 3G feel? People gripe that it's not 4G, but I think a lot people forget that the connection can wait on the CPU to do anything!

I have a few 4G devices (Thunderbolt, Droid Charge, and a Sprint 4G hotspot and two Verizon 4G hotspots,) and the problem there is always battery life. The X2 is fast in other ways, because it isn't really always about the connection. So the 3G "feels" about as fast as any other 3G, which is to say, it feels perfectly fine. The phone overall feels faster than competing Android devices though, due to the dual-core chip that's in there!

I got my phone today and this is my 1st android device so far. it feels pretty fast at least so far I'm sure that may change when i start adding more applications and widgets to the home screens.

I must say that so far i like device but it definitely has a learning curve to use the device. i keep swiping the screen when I'm supposed to push a button.
