I've been seriously considering and wanting this phone and intend to use it with google voice. Has anyone had positive/negative experiences with it?

How is the google voice app? Has HTC altered it at all with the sense ui?

This is my first Android phone and as far as I can tell, it's the stock Google Voice app. Works amazingly on Android. I actually use the GV service now when giving my number out to people (who I don't expect will be send me MMS messages).

Google Voice app on Android is fantastic. Sense UI doesn't mess with apps, it only messes with Android features like the homescreen, menus, and submenus. This means that the menus will have a slightly different look within apps because of Sense, but everything will be in the same order and have the same format.

Its a great one. I liked it a lot, sent it back to Verizon and was a bit sad, but I have my droid to fall back on, another great phone. Read my review on it for info at AndroidHeadlines.com. Awesome phone

i owned the phone for 2 weeks, i'd still have it if it weren't for the battery life, i am just not a user who is in a position to charge my phone midday or carry an extra battery or buy an extended battery (the only fixes verizon offered me) but i seem to be one of the only people who had problems with the battery life.

Google Voice works perfect on it. I use my Google Voice number as my home number and my carrier number is used exclusively for work. Works like a champ. Note: I have gVoice set to ask me what number I want to use when I call out. A filtering system would be neat but that's just asking for extras. I'm pleased with the current implementation.
