Question about
I think the iPod touch is a great device. I just don't like the relationship that apple has with well anyone (developers, customers, ect).
I just can't think of any alternatives that exist in this form factor. I would love to see a zune hd2 with wp7 os. Is there an android device out there with similar hardware?

For one reason or another, there haven't been many viable Android PMPs.
That said, Samsung recently outed one toward the end of this past year, the Samsung YEPP YP-MB2: gdgt.com/samsung/yepp/yp-mb2/
Cowon also has an Android powered PMP they recently announced, the Cowon D3: gdgt.com/cowon/d3-plenue/

Samsung also have their Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 and 5.0.
These are 4 and 5 inch PMP devices, which are basically the Galaxy S phones but without the phone (has Android, Market apps, Super AMOLED etc)
These are probably the closest to the iPod touches in terms of awesomeness.
