I'm worried about the Gingerbread update screwing up my apps and functionality? Is there a huge problem with the 2.3 update or smooth sailing?

You will lose Netflix, if that matters to you. Also, I was on cm7 for a while before I installed this, so I may have gotten spoiled by cm7, but my battery life is terrible now compared to cm6 and cm7. I can't remember what it was like on stock 2.2. Everything else seems to work fine... at least the stuff I use and care about.

I read that there is a problem with the Netflix app and 2.3, but it works fine on my Evo with CM7.

After carefully paying attention to my EVO, I've noticed some apps running in the background crashing for no apparent reason!? Also I saw someone mentioned Sense having to reload, I started having problems with Sense UI weeks before the 2.3 update and that's when a started Go Launcher EX, and had no problems since.

You will lose Netflix until the maintenance update (within next few weeks), but other than that everything will work just fine.

I was going to mention Netflix. I lost the ability to watch Netflix on my EVO as soon as I applied the update. I tried to to re-download from the Market on my desktop, but Netflix is now listed as an incompatible app with the EVO.

I have not had any problems since the update. I can't talk about battery life since i just got a larger battery days after the update. Netflix works great as well as every other App.

They released an update which brought Netflix functionality back but I'm still getting all sorts of bugs on my Evo, like losing 3G connectivity and Sense reloading after I close an app.
