Question about
I'm thinking of installing ubuntu on my xo-1- any thoughts?
also the directions on their wiki assume you already have a linux computer running virtual box (wiki.laptop.org/go/Ubuntu_Lucid_on_OLPC_XO). I do have another linux computer, but it's another netbook and it doesn't have the harddrive space for virtualbox. Anyone have any ideas on how I can do the same thing on my mac computer running virtualbox?
VirtualBox is also available for Mac; OSX is Unix based so the commands shown for Ubuntu will likely be available from the terminal also (though may vary since it's a FreeBSD based OS). www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
