It seems like the HTC Evo is the perfect answer (despite having to buy it at the full retail price at $500). Should I just pre-order it from the Shack now? There are some rumors of the iPhone going to Sprint which 1. is still only a rumor (and a big one at that!) and 2. while an avid iPod Touch user, I'm looking forward to the world of openness Android offers. But all in all, is there any reason why I shouldn't be pre-ordering from the Shack before the offer ends?
Another question with the Evo, am I able to use both Chinese (Traditional) settings and English on the Evo (both in typing and overall language settings) or is Froyo required?
Question about
I'm ready to quit my Palm Pre; while it's a good phone, there's just little to no support (esp. on the app side).
I'm in the same boat. I'm thinking of continuing to wait for a full QWERTY android device. EVO seems like a solid choice though, and the android market will more than make up for your desire for more apps. (i've also got a nexus one.)
