I'm hearing rumors of a gingerbread update coming for the Droid 2, Pro, and X. Any truth to them? Any time frame?

Yes, supposedly the update for the Droid X will come by the end of Q2, with updates for the others coming in early Q3.

Droid-life just reported that the Gingerbread is getting closer to release and has release notes from Verizon. Supposedly the build is ready and Motorola is doing additional testing. No set date at the moment though!

Follow-up question: will the Gingerbread update come with an unlocked bootloader? I'm kind of disappointed that I can only pseudo-root my Droid 2.
