Question about

I'm generally liking Android 2.3, even if there are things I would change, they do continue to make incremental improvements in the OS.

However, there is one frustration I'm having so far (besides the random reboots, of course), which is that Swype doesn't work on it. The stock Android keyboard IS better, but it's still not great, and Swype was one of the big reasons I was able to give up a physical keyboard in the first place. Anyone else share my pain? Or better yet, gotten Swype working properly?

Swype is one of first things I loaded on the Nexus S. I have had no issues whatsoever with Swype. It is quite fluid and speedy. I definitely prefer it to the stock keyboard.

I have a Motorola Droid X running 2.3 and Swype with no significant problems from day one. The only issue I've had with it (since 2.2 is that when using Swype to type a Google search query after hitting the search key, it lags for quite a long time. This seems to be a Swype only problem as other keyboards (incl. stock Android) don't do this.

I have a nexus s and droid 1 both on 2.3, one is hacked and one stock. I like it. Not many complaints.

Tried SlideIT from the market? A Swype clone that seems close in functionality.
