I'd start playing a track and then after about 13 or 14 seconds it would cut out and then either start up again a few seconds later (in the place it would have been if it had kept playing) or skip to the next track. Then most tracks stopped playing entirely. I figured it was a problem with the Sonos, but I was able to stream from other sources without any problem, and when I logged into the ShareSpace itself and grabbed the logs I found a bunch of error messages like these:
10/07/12 20:48:23Â Â read_data: read failure for 4 bytes to client 192.168.0.101. Error = Connection reset by peer
2010/07/12 20:24:30Â Â macbookpro-d45f (192.168.0.101) closed connection to service Public
I'm at a loss to fix the issue. I know it's not my network, I've checked everything and I'm not having any other problems there. I've put in an email to Western Digital's support team to see if they can help, but I'm not optimistic and figured I'd see if anyone else might have some thoughts.
Question about
I'm experiencing a very frustrating issue with my WD ShareSpace which I first noticed when I tried streaming music off of it via my Sonos.
