However, now that I have it hooked up to my receiver and that is funneling all my HDMI devices into it and my Polk speakers, I feel like I'm really missing the ability to turn it off with a remote, since it is quite power hungry, even in power save. I was wondering if it would be bad to hook up my monitor to a remote control outlet like the things Tanga just happens to be selling for the next 23 hours?
