1) My 60GB late 2007 model got the yellow light (of death) and won't start.
2) Sometimes it is hard to get the screws off of the hard drive. A friend had this problem and to get the screws on the hard drive casing off, he had to send the entire PS3 to sony for them just to remove the screws.
