Question about
I like the way this site works, but I don't understand why there isn't a section for apps. Apps just as much a gadget as the OS.
Layar, Lokast, Pandora, Shop Savvy, the multitude of GPS apps. Apps are awesome and I would like to here from the gdgt community their thoughts on which apps are the most useful. I just don't understand why there isn't already a section for apps, so why isn't there one, will there be one or did I somehow overlook it?
there are numerous threads for products about most useful apps, etc. i would think addding apps would be far too cumbersome. much easier to just discuss most frequently used apps for each cell phone, computer, whatever.

Software is interesting, but it opens up a lot of issues for us. We're focusing on consumer electronics right now.
