Question about
icu

I just got offered by VZW to pick up one of these bad Larrys for $99. Now, for the longest time I've been waiting for an Inc.

+ a slide-out KB and with the Merge I thought I was finally going to get it. Conundrum now is - is the kb worth $100 to me? I'm not sure.
My question is - at this point with all the different options available and on the horizon - does the Incredible hold up and will it continue to hold up over the next year to 2 years?
Also, I'm curious what people's opinions are on the change from OLED screens to SVGA screens. By all accounts the difference is negligible but the screen was a main selling point back in the day. What think you? Thanks

(come to think of it - shouldn't the specs on the erm specs be changed to reflect the screen tech change?)

Ugh - sorry I mean SLCD not SVGA ... missed my editing window.

Apparently all new Incredible have the SLCD screens which by all accounts are just as nice even side by side (except for the blacks). Still it's a shame they had to make this change (Sammy took their OLED ball and left to make 20 different Galaxy S phones)

Way to tell difference is SKU # ends with 2 = OLED ends with 3 = SLCD

I've never seen a SLCD phone that I know of.. What other devices use SLCD?

I've been using OLED on my Incredible and it is pretty darn good. I've also used a OLED on my old Nexus One and it was great as well. Alot better then the LCD that was on the iPhone 3G.
