Question about
I have the new Mac mini hooked up to my receiver, but the screen flickers everyone once in a while as if the HDMI signal was lost.
I replaced the HDMI cable once already and now I'm testing a third cable to hopefully identify the issue. I've also tried turning various functions on my receiver on and off but nothing helped. The receiver worked perfectly fine hooked up to my Apple TV or other devices, so I think the problem resides with the new Mac mini.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any possible troubleshooting suggestions?

Sounds to me that it's more of a hardware issue with the video card of the mini. That or maybe a driver issue. My only suggestion would be to make sure all of your software is up to date. Hopefully someone else can come to the rescue here and offer a solution.

I have the same issue on my mac mini when set to 1080p. Doesn't happen with the same model mini connected to another TV at 720p

Ok my screen just flickered off and on again, it's not an HDMI cable issue.
And I made a point to route the HDMI cable away from all the other ones too, so it's not an interference issue.
