Question about
I'd like some advices on building a HTPC.
So far my plan is to get the following parts:
- ZOTAC IONITX-F-E Intel Atom 330
- LG BD-ROM
- CORSAIR XMS2 4GB (2 x 2GB)
- PCI-e 4 port SATA2 (because MoBo only has 3 connectors and I plan to put a few more harddrives)
On the software side, I'm gonna run Ubuntu and XBMC. Has anyone ever used this MoBo or can't recommend me another setup?
Thanks in advance.

There is a video on XBMC.org of them using a Zotac for XBMC so it will work. Pending on your needs though you may need to go with windows over ubuntu as netflix doesn't work with Ubuntu, properly at least.

I'm using that mobo with Boxee running under Windows 7 (needed Windows Media Center for Ceton InfiniTV 4 support), and it uses the ION acceleration quite well. From what I've read, it should under Ubuntu as well, via VDPAU. The exception is with Netflix, but a) that's a Silverlight issue and b) it doesn't seem to be an issue for you anyway.
