Question about
I considering picking one of these (or something similar) to replace an older PCH and was wondering if this when one of these is connected to an HDTV does it…
overscan on the TV or does the resolution match up perfectly? I've tried connecting various PC/laptops to my TV via HDMI/DVI/DisplayPort and always get overscan and can never find the settings to get it matched up right. I would just give up at this point but I've seen at least one setup in person (HP corei7 laptop HDMI to HDTV) where it was setup right, but the owner didn't remember what he did to get it right. I also figure this is common/popular enough at this point that it's an easy fix, but I'd like to know for sure before I go out and get one.
I have it connected to an oldish Samsung LCD TV with the HDMI. The LCD is native 1366x768, but I have to use the nvidia tools to reduce it down to fit on the screen. If I connect with the DB15 PC output, it will work at 1360x768.

Best advice I can give you is to research the video card in the Revo. I know overscan/underscan issues are dependent on the card & the tv. Some cards do better with certain TVs because of the native resolutions of the tvs. Even if there is an issue with overscan/underscan, you can make the adjustments. I am using an ATI HD4350 hdmi out and had to adjust the overscan and got it pretty close to fitting in the whole screen, it's off by 1/2-3/4" of an inch on one of the TV.
