Question about
i clicked factory reset button and now it only shows the apple logo and the device doesnot start?
I'm not sure what you mean by "factory reset button." I haven't owned my iPod touch in some time but, as I recall, the device must be reset via iTunes. Resetting the device forces iTunes to check (and download) its latest firmware and essentially returns it to factory condition.

Hold down both the home button and the lock button at the same time for about ten seconds it will go blank and then charge before further use :)
