I can get a Leica M8 with a 50mm Color Scopar lens for $3500 - should I get it?
I own a Leica D Lux 5 but would LOVE a Leica rangefinder camera. I can get one for $3500 with a 50mm Color Scopar lens for $3500. I'm not sure if I should spend the money, or if I should save and get a Leica M9. Any advice is appreciated!

I don't have any experience with Leica cameras, but the M8 goes for roughly $2000-$2500 on eBay and the lens for ~$430, so that isn't that great of a deal price-wise. The M9 is upwards of $7000 for the body only, so the choice is yours.
