HBO go crashes, various java script heavy sites crash (my investigations led me to this, as opposed to my phone, or pc). The tablet has Android 2.3.2 . *.4 added GTalk video (tablet has camera, but no built in vid chat). I was looking for a Logitech Harmony remote, for about the same price I could also get a tablet! However, the remote is as good as a RadioSharck $10 universal remote, function is very basic. It does recognize my tv and sat receiver. However, it would be nice if I could press one button and turn both on. Now, I have to select one "profile" then press power, turn other profile, then press power. it has the option to control PS3, but it doesn't do anything. My questions is, should I hang on to it and hope that Vizio will do good upgrades and make worth it? or should I return it and just by a Logitech remote?
On paper, it sounds fantabulous. However, using it, it has major limitations to the point that now, the only thing I can use it for is to browse some websites (because some of the ones I browse crash due to java script or flash).
keep it or return it? is there a better remote software? either free or paid? It does heave IR.
Question about
I bought the Vizio tablet, many apps/websites crash, should I keep it?
It went down in price. It's $235 at Costco now, but I still returned it.

I would say return it if you can. Sounds like it's really not great, especially for the remote functions which you wanted in the first place. Not a good remote or a good tablet, what's left? Also many other tablets are coming down in price so you may be able to get something else if you're still interested, for a similar price.
