I am excited to see the new WebOs devices. But I am curious what HP will use for their media ecosystem?

After the debacle with iTunes and the original pre I am concerned. My HTC incredible is great but with no integrated media ecosystem I have always been slightly disappointed. Does anyone know what the new HP stuff will have?

This isn't related to HP but have you tried doubleTwist (www.doubletwist.com/)? It syncs all of your media and integrates the Amazon music store along with podcast subscriptions. The wifi sync is a big bonus as well. It has solved my media ecosystem problem because it's all contained within their software.

I don't think HP has made announcements for any media ecosystem. Hopefully, HP will do something cool with their streaming service: techcrunch.com/2010/06/23/hp-goes-nutsie-for-melod...

On the Engadget show, Rubenstein leaked that iTunes sync is going to return. It has been speculated that they're going to use a plugin similar to RIM.

PreCentral just reported that webOS 3.0 will be incorporating new streaming music service called the HP music store (along with a video service called HP movie store). Not a lot of specific details, but it sonds like it might incorporate a combination of storage for music you already own, as well as the ability to stream new music, possibly for a monthly fee.
