I am deciding between this and the flip mino HD. I'm leaning toward the zi8 but the real deciding point is how the stabilization is on both cameras.

Is the optical stabilization in the Mino that much better than the electronic stabilization on the zi8 or is it not that much of a factor?

You've probably made your decision but the image stabilization on the Zi8 is TERRIBLE,
