robin1400's pick
If you're always on the go the Air would be the best option. It is thin and light and can be easily stored in a bag. The SSD is extremely quick and lets you get working right away.
The mac book pro is more for power users now who sit at a desk dealing with media all day. The Pros also have a larger Hard Drive capacities so if you have 100s of gigs of music, video, or pics, you're going to want a mac book pro or an external hard drive to take your media with you where-ever you go if you choose the Air(kind of a pain).
The mac book pro also offers better graphics if 3D gaming is also an issue.
These are the main differences... physical size and Hard Drive capacity. Either have the processor power to take care of most day to day things without noticing a significant speed difference. They offer similar battery life, memory, etc.
The best thing to do would be to go to an apple store or a best buy and try what you would do in a normal day. I was recently at the store and rendered the same video in 1080p HD on the 13inch macbook pro and 13inch macbook air and the times were basically the same. I think this is because the SSD compensates for the weaker processor.

The question is a bad question. First of all a mac pro is unlike a macbook air. Both are different types of useing fields. If you are working on hard projects with videofiles and rendering, i would rather choose a mac pro. If you are somebody travels alot, go for the air. If you don't want miss both types, go for macbook pro. While mac pro is of course still better and air still lighter, you may have both sides. If you want macbook pro instead, would wait will ivy bridge come out;)
