I have been using Samsung Galaxy S i9000 for past 2 years and i am satisfied with the built quality. But after the announcement of HTC's One X i am falling in love with it day by day :)
Few of my friends has mention poor built up quality of HTC specially the touch screen.
So what do you think about it ?

I've had an Eris and now an Incredible 2 with no complaints when it comes to build. I actually prefer HTC over Samsung due to Samsung's feeling really cheap in my hand.

I haven't heard too many problems about HTC build quality. I've only gotten to use a few of their phones, but I thought they were fine. I really do enjoy Samsung products though. I think of the two Samsung would probably come out on top in terms of build quality, but it's not like HTC is holding their phones together with duct tape or anything. They're perfectly fine.

I actually think the build quality for HTC has been very good over the years. It has actually become a preference for me. When I wanted an LTE device on AT&T I went with the HTC Vivid over the Samsung Skyrocket. And now this HTC One X I've been using has been awesome. It doesn't feel cheap, the display is good and looks put together well. And personally I'd take Sense over TouchWiz anyday!
