HP MediaSmart Server 3.0 Software Update Expected December 2009
Here's a link to an interesting post on WeGotServed.com about the status of HP's MediaSmart Server 3.0 update. In summary, HP is working on an upgrade DVD to be available for order in December 2009 "expected to be in the US$25 range."

Unfortunately it looks like the 3.0 update is being delayed until February 2010 :(

At this time, it does not look like the ordering process is activated yet, but hopefully it will be turned on by the end of the week.

The ordering process is now active. It ends up being almost $30. (25+shipping+taxes).
