You may want to have it serviced. A laptop can get warm, but it should not be so hot that you can't handle it. You may have some faulty hardware or some malware messing with your system.

Make sure that when its on your lap that your legs/jeans/whatever aren't blocking the cooling vents. Also get your battery checked, it might be the cause of the extreme heat.
