Question about
How to eliminate humm/rumble on HP v5560u?
is there an option to disable the inside mic on the HP camcorder V5560u?
YES !.. Simply connect a good quality mic with a fuzzy wind sock cover. Most are omnidirectional , cardiod,, some are directional with 2 mics. consult with HP for preferred mics or consider Shure mics.
ONCE CONNECTED the internal mic is disabled.

English is not my first language, sorry for my "school-english".
I know a lot of things about mics, that is not the problem. I use a ATR 25 shotgun condenser with windscreen/plopscreen.
In fact the problem is when I connect a mic on the input, there is no disabling from the mic inside.
Those 2 mics staying recording togheter.
I hear the motor inside zooming or justifing for sharpness on my record.
Is it a solution to dammage/eliminate the inside mic (awful quality) trough a paperclip piercing?
Thank you for the help to resolve this problem.

In the volume controls, change over to the recording settings.
options -> properties
click "recording" and then "OK"
You should nmow have a different volume panel, with 'microphone' selected. Move it over to 'line in'
